ISBE DELL e-Broadcast 2009.151- A Perfect Match: Using Data and Standards to Drive Program Design

The Illinois Resource Center (IRC) is providing a new way of delivering technical assistance to ELL program administrators and teachers.  A six session workshop series entitled, “A Perfect Match:  Using Data and Standards to Drive Program Design” will offer long term professional development to teams of teachers and administrators.

IRC specialists and World Class Instructional Design and Assessment (WIDA) Consortium experts from the University of Wisconsin at Madison will present team participants with engaging opportunities and dynamic tools for gathering, analyzing and applying data to create an exemplary ELL program.  The structured framework will also provide a process for addressing curriculum and instruction implications.

Upcoming workshop session dates are April 22, 23, and May 4, 5, 27 and 28.  The registration deadline is March 20, 2009.  For more details see .
