Assessment Network Open

ISAT & IAA Test Coordinators:

Pearson’s Assessment Network is now available for 2012-2013 pre-test activities.  These activities are required if your district, Chicago school, ROE/ISC, or special education private facility plans to assess the spring 2013 ISAT and or IAA.  These activities must be completed by no later than 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2012.

  1. Check your district, Chicago school, ROE/ISC, or special education private facility’s Profile information to ensure all information is accurate.  Information contained in the ISAT and IAA Test Coordinator’s Profile will be to whom and where test materials will be shipped, and to whom all test material related information will be communicated.  It is important that you provide a valid e-mail address in ALL profiles.
  2. ISAT and IAA Test Coordinators should check their 2012-2013 STUDENT INFORMATION/SIS to ensure that enrollment numbers are accurate.  These enrollment numbers reflect what Home School districts uploaded to SIS as of Friday, October 19, 2012.  If these enrollment numbers are inaccurate, do not contact Pearson or ISBE.  Instead contact the student’s Home School district, as they are responsible for fixing inaccurate information in SIS on or before January 4, 2013.
  3. ISAT Test Coordinators are required to enter the number of students being tested that will require a special-format test [i.e. Reader Script, Form LM, Braille, Large-Print, or audio test version].  It is important that this information be entered accurately and before 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012, if special-format tests are to be included in your initial test material shipment.  Pearson’s additional order system - beginning February 4, 2013, is not designed to process initial special-format test orders.

Additionally, if you are an ISAT district that wishes to request a modification to your 2013 two-week test window, your request must be submitted through Pearson’s Assessment Network on or before 11:59 p.m., December 1, 2012.

For complete instructions and details about performing about these activities, refer to the 2013 ISAT & IAA Reference Guide you received along with your 2012-2013 Assessment Network User ID and Password, the week of October 22, 2012.  Additional questions should be directed to Illinois Customer Support at 1-888-705-9413 or via e-mail at ISAT@support.pearson.com or IAA_pearson@support.pearson.com.
